Brace yourself. Effective February of 2020, license fees for GCs in Washington State are going... down? 

I did a double take, but it’s true! Both their application fee and renewal fee are being reduced from $200 to $50. 🙌

Maybe more states will follow suit (lookin' at you, Idaho), but I'm not holding my breath. 😉

Jo Becerra has worked as a genetic counselor since 2009 in both a clinical and laboratory setting. She was inspired to create Elsie when she had over 40 CEU certificates to submit for her recertification and then had to figure out which ones applied to her state license just a few months later.
