How to request a verification of genetic counseling licensure from Idaho (for now)

Iowa is still working out the kinks of their new licensing system. Here's what we've learned about the license verification process for genetic counselors:

Free Verification Letter- You can download a free verification letter by clicking on the "Request a Good Standing Letter" link on their website. It will let you download a PDF for free with all your license info on it. This is a much nicer option then trying to print something from the "Search for Licenses" page.

Paid Verification- If you need Idaho to send a letter directly to another state, you'll have to log into your portal. Click the Summary tab, then click Menu

Then click "Request a Certified Licensure History Letter"

You'll then be able to pay the $10 fee, but there's no place to put what state to send it to (they're working on updating that). Once your order is placed, you'll have to email gen@dopl.idaho.gov and tell then where you want the verification sent.
