Changes to Florida's Renewal Requirements

While Florida's GC licensure program was launched in 2021, they only recently released their renewal requirements.

They have also changed their license expiration date from 7/31/23 to 12/31/23.

Here's what you'll need to do to prepare for your renewal:

  • Create a CE Broker account (if you're an Elsie AutoGen Maintenance  member, we'll take care of this for you and upload your certificates)

  • Upload a copy of your current ABGC certification to CE Broker

  • Upload proof of completion of a 2-hour prevention of medical errors course

The Florida website doesn't specify which medical error prevention course to take, so we've found a few options (this is not a comprehensive list of courses):
